- My name is Chris Baucia. I'm currently in my 17th year as an assistant coach and teacher at my alma mater DeMatha Catholic High School. During that time the DeMatha Stags have won 12 WCAC championships, including a #1 ranking in the Washington Post in 2000, 2001 and 2004, and USA Today #15 2003, #20 2004, #14 2005, #16 2006. I've worked with student-athletes who went on to play at a wide variety of colleges and universities through out the country, including those in the ACC, Big East, Big 10, Pac 10, and Atlantic 10 conferences. Overall, I have coached more than 180 players who have received NCAA Division I scholarships and served as the former Director for the Washington Area NFL Junior Player Development Program. I played quarterback and punter at Virginia Tech.
